How I Started Training

I did not start to become a bodybuilder. I started because I wanted to feel good in my own skin again.

Back in 2018 I did not like what I saw in the mirror. My clothes stopped fitting the way I wanted, and I did not feel good in my own body. I was studying and working at the same time, and the one thing I could control was showing up for myself. So I started training, mostly to get my confidence back.

It Was Never The Plan

I had zero plan to become a bodybuilder. I just wanted to feel strong and comfortable in my skin again. One thing led to another, and every week I got a little stronger and liked what I saw a little more. I had never seen a woman built like the ones I started following, and somewhere along the way I fell completely in love with the process.

Training stopped being a chore. It became who I am.

Working, Studying, Training

I was studying and working at the same time, and I still went to the gym. Not on the easy days, on all of them. That is the part I am actually proud of, more than how I look now. Nobody handed me the time, I took it out of days that were already full.

People told me I would end up looking bad. I looked exactly like I wanted to.

Everyone had an opinion. That lifting would make me look bad, too big, too much. I heard it constantly, and I kept going anyway, because the way I felt in my own body was worth more to me than what anyone thought about it. Eight years later, the opinions stopped and the results stayed.

Eight Years Later

What started as a way to feel better about myself turned into a real athletic career. I committed to competing, and I worked my way up to competing in Wellness NPC and to becoming one of the top female athletes in Central America. Standing on that stage after years of work most people never see is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

The training, the progress and the side I don’t share with everyone. It’s also the only place we can actually talk. Ask me anything, I answer there myself.
